Day 3 Siena & Florence

Our Hotel in Rome
After a night's rest in Best Western Hotel, we drove off heading towards the ancient town of Siena.  Siena was like another world. As compared to our city lives, it's really different, be it the culture or the architecture. Siena is built on hills so our entire journey there was an "uphill battle". Walking up and down along the small alleys made our legs ache but it was all worth it as we got to see more of the area.

We had our lunch there as well. I have to say, Singapore sure need these kind of pizzas. Their pizzas are GIGANTIC!

After lunch we left for Florence.

There we walked around looking at the architecture and other stuff (nothing really special that I remember)

Then it was the special night, our Tuscan dinner. We drove to a secluded area to one of the only restaurants that served the traditional dinner (we were in the Tuscany region) It was a very fun dinner with an opera singer performing Italian songs for us (at one point when we told him we are from Singapore, he actually sang the Singapura song haha it was hilarious)
Picture with the singer (pardon the quality, I took it with my phone)

Bought the CD for 10Euros
The portion of the food was like GIGANTIC!( like who can finish such a huge steak after eating pasta and salad and plenty of potatoes?)
This is what I mean by HUGE
The performance was really entertaining and it was a really fun dinner. I really enjoyed the night and it was really a lot of fun.

Day 3 in Europe isn't really that eventful afterall...
